KICCA Kids Cafe & Interactive Playground at Festival Mall

Christmas vacation is officially over when school starts tomorrow! But I'm happy we were able to do lots of activities over the holidays including going to KICCA, a Kids Cafe and Interactive Playground in Alabang.

Video game fun at PlayboxPH

My two older kids were invited to a video game party last weekend here in the BF Homes area. We've been to Puzzles before, which is a board game lounge, so I was pleasantly surprised to know that there was a simlar concept but for video games.

Bounce Trampoline Park in SM Southmall

If you're a parent and it's summer, then you're probably always looking for activities that your kids can do. Whether it's enrolling them in various classes or workshops, planning vacations, or just trying to get them out of the house to lessen their screen time lol! ;p

I've been wanting to bring them to a trampoline park but the ones that initially opened are located quite far from us (there's Jumpyard in Pasig and Trampoline Park in Mandaluyong). So when Bounce Philippines finally opened in SM Southmall, now was our chance!

Giant Ball Pit in SM BF!

We were in SM City BF a few days ago and on our way to the grocery, the boys spotted this huge ball pit in the ground floor of the main atrium. Of course what could I do but let them jump in!

DaVinciBricks LEGO Lab

My kids love Lego so it was a treat for them to go to a DaVinciBricks LEGO Lab last July 16. It was held at McDonald's here in BF Homes so it was double the fun for them too.

A day at Sta. Elena Fun Farm

One of my daughter's BFFs celebrated her birthday at Sta. Elena Fun Farm last month and I was really excited about it since I've never been here before! My daughter's field trip was actually held here 3 years ago but I had just given birth to my youngest that time, so it was hubby who accompanied her. They had such a great time and the pictures looked awesome, but we somehow never got around to planning a visit. So now, finally, we were able to go as a family (and for free lol!) ;p

Our Jollibee Mini Managers Camp experience 2017

Whew, I can finally find some time to relax now since we just ended the last of the kids' summer activities. We did McDonald's Kiddie Crew last week back to back with Jollibee Mini Managers Camp this week. Add to that my son's summer soccer camp which also ended last week.

Anyway, we first did McDonald's Kiddie Crew last year and the kids had a blast. I found out too late though that there was a Jollibee version, since all slots were already full when I tried to sign up last year.

This summer, my fellow moms and I made sure to inquire early and we were able to sign up our kids for the May 15-20 batch.

DIY Diaper Snow

It's officially summer for the kids! I'm so glad school is finally out, but at the same time dreading hearing these 2 words over and over again - "I'M BOOOOORED!" Anyway, here's an easy and quick activity that will surely keep your kids occupied for a couple of hours.

ClubBambino Summer Camp 2017 Programs

It's summer once again! And if you have children like me, the one thing you look for is activities they can do while there's no school. I mean really, how many times can you hear the phrase "I'm bored!" lol! If you're from the south, here's ClubBambino's programs for their summer camp this year.

L.O.L. Surprise Dolls (plus the kids' new YouTube channel!)

My daughter told me last December that what she wanted for Christmas was these L.O.L. Surprise Dolls she saw on YouTube. It was the first time I had ever heard of these dolls and it was so funny when she was explaining to me how they worked. She kept saying it was 7 layers of surprise like a blind bag, and I was like how would it all fit inside?!

The Children’s Garden in Gardens by the Bay Singapore

I've been to Gardens by the Bay in Sinagpore many times before, but this was the first time we were able to check out the Children's Garden. I think a lot of people don't even know about this place, since usually you just go the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest Conservatories. I myself just found out about the Children's Garden when I was searching for stuff my kids could do in Singapore. And guess what, the best thing about this place is that it's totally FREE!

Art In Island 3D Art Museum

I've already been to a 3D Art Museum in Korea about 2 years ago, which I enjoyed very much. My kids loved looking at all the silly pictures of their dad and me, so I jumped at the chance to visit Art In Island so they could experience it for themselves.

Puzzles: Board Game Lounge in BF Paranaque

I've been hearing about Puzzles from my other mommy friends for quite a while now. So finally, we were able to check it out a couple of days ago!

Since I wanted to maximize our trip to Legoland, we booked a 2 night stay at the Legoland Hotel with access to both the theme park and the water park. Check their website since they usually have different promos. We also went on a weekday (Monday - Wednesday) to avoid the crowds.

Here's the breakdown of our package for 2 adults and 2 kids:

2-day combo ticket valid to access Theme Park and Water Park: MYR 810
TOTAL: MYR 2,960

DIY: Popsicle Stick Characters

Now that it's the summer break, I sometimes feel like I'm busier than when the kids were in school. Between driving and accompanying them to their different activities/workshops/playdates, I also have to think of ways to keep them entertained at home.

Our McDonald's Kiddie Crew experience 2016

Over the past few years, I've been seeing pictures of the McDonald's Kiddie Crew Workshop in social media and I'd always wondered when my own kids would get to do it. Well, finally the time has come since they're now old enough (5 & 6 years old)!

Little Tycoons Playhouse

My kids were invited to a playdate at Little Tycoons Playhouse last week. To be honest, I've never heard of this place prior to the visit and I had to do a bit of research first to know where it was located.

For those in the south, Little Tycoons is located in the 2nd Level of Westgate Hub in Alabang, near S&R. The place is similar to other playhouses you would find in malls where you could leave your children for a couple of hours. What I liked about this particular establishment though is that it's designed like a mini city, which reminded me very much of Kidzania!

Frozen Toys Rescue Mission!

I have to thank my friend Ange for giving me this idea when she posted a photo on Facebook of her boys doing this activity. All you have to do is freeze some toys in water and and have your kids find a way to "rescue" or get them out. It looked super easy to do and something I knew my own kids would love playing!

How to make your own playdough (no cook recipe)

My 5 year old daughter: Mom, I'm bored. What can I do?!

Me: Your homework!

Her: What???!!! I want something fun!

Haaay good luck to me when she gets to big school! Anyway, it's getting harder and harder to entertain her these days so I'm thankful for blogs and YouTube for giving me lots of ideas. My daughter loves mixing ingredients and as you know, I need a lot of help in the kitchen department. That's why when I saw this video she was watching, I knew instantly that we can make it since 1) it looked super easy, 2) all the ingredients were something I had on hand, and of course 3) who doesn't love playdough?
