LEGO Brick-Amazing Sale (plus our loot!)

It was just by chance that I found out about this Lego sale last Friday night in one of the mommy groups in FB. I told hubby about it and was surprised when he said he was game to go, considering the venue was at SM MEGAMALL! I think he was also excited to check out the toys so he was willing to drive all the way to the north haha! ;p

So off we went bright and early yesterday morning. We didn't even tell the kids about it since we wanted it to be a surprise. When we got there and they saw all the Legos, they couldn't believe their eyes!

It was at Megatrade Hall and there was an average amount of people there. I was expecting a whole lot more, so I was happy it wasn't crowded at all. Lamig pa ng aircon! Oh and I saw in the banners going there that there was a P100 entrance fee, but when we entered there was none naman (buti na lang hehe). ;p

Of course, Lego is quite expensive so even with the huge discounts, a set can still cost up to P1,000 or more depending on the size. But the sale amounts were comparable to US prices (even less), so it was definitely a good deal!

Some of the really cheap ones like the Chima, Bionicles, and Ninjago Airjitzu had old and torn packaging already. Sayang, I wanted to hoard as gifts pa naman.

The kids were so excited to go home after buying everything, but we're in Megamall once a year so sinulit ko muna ang shopping haha! We ended up going home at like 8:30pm (we arrived there 11am lol!). Anyway, here's the kids' loot:

The best deal for me were these ELVES since they were at 60% off! We just bought them all since my daughter's 7th birthday is coming up so these were our early gifts for her.
