Our staycation at Crimson Hotel Alabang

February was a big month for us since we celebrated 3 events - our 5th wedding anniversary, Miley's 4th birthday, and also Skyler 1st month! :)

To celebrate, we decided to just book a stay at a nearby hotel since I didn't really want to go out of town yet with Skyler being so young. After checking out the different options, we finally decided to try out Crimson Hotel in Filinvest City, Alabang.

We booked directly at the hotel's website, where we availed the CRIMSON MABUHAY EXPERIENCE package for about P4,600 with the following perks:
- Overnight stay at a Premier room
- Buffet breakfast at Cafe 8 for 2 adults and 2 children up to 5 years old
- Complimentary 1 hour in-room massage for up to 2 adults

We also booked a deluxe room (about P4,000) since my mom and sister also tagged along. Check-in was easy (we were also given welcome drinks) and the girl at the front desk was really nice. We asked if we could have adjoining rooms but there wasn't any available that time. We were there on a weekend so I guess the hotel was pretty full. We were supposed to be on separate floors but luckily she was able to work something out, we just had to wait a couple of minutes for the other room to be ready (which was no problem since we were there before the actual check-in time of 2pm anyway). You can also choose if you want a king bed or 2 twin beds (subject to availability).

For the massage, we were contacted via email after we booked on what time we wanted it to be. Since I don't like massages, we asked if my sister could avail the other massage in their room and it was no problem.

The rooms were really nice, especially the beds and pillows which were sooooo soft and fluffy! I almost didn't want to get up anymore after lying down hehe. They also have free wi-fi which was a major plus! :)

premier room (30 square meters) with king sized bed
we all fit!
rooms come with 40" LED TVs
view from our room
deluxe room (28 square meters) with twin beds
love the wallpaper
bathroom is the same size for both rooms. too bad there's no bathtub though...
silly selfie time! ;p

We bought a cupcake at their deli shop for Skyler's 1st month. The cupcake was delicious, as well as the other breads and pastries they sell, which go for 40% off after 7pm.

Happy 1 month my love!

Now the fun part - SWIMMING! The kids were so excited that they wanted to go swimming right away after we were all settled in. This was at about 2pm which would explain why they were the only ones at the pool during that time haha! There were already a lot of people in the late afternoon and the next morning.

lounge area by the pool
pool was at the 4th floor so it could get kind of windy
the right side was the "kiddie" pool since it was shallow, while the left side was the deep pool
loved these cool chairs in the lounge area! Miley said we were inside "Kisses" because of the shape haha!

Another thing the hotel offers is FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE within a 3km radius around the area. So that includes Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center. We decided to eat in S&R for dinner so we just went to the ground floor lobby and informed the reception where we wanted to go. Then you just get the phone number of your driver so you could contact him again when you want to get picked up already. It was super convenient and hassle free. :)

Breakfast was at Cafe 8 and there was good variety and lots of selections.

We had such a great and memorable time that I don't believe this will be our last. Service was excellent and I think their package is really a good deal with all the inclusions. Just expect quite a few people if you're booking on a weekend, especially if there's an event taking place. There was a prom and debut on the Saturday night we were there. Anyway, I'm definitely recommending this place for families or couples who just want to take a break without spending so much. :)
