Burger Geek, Molito Alabang

Stumbled upon this restaurant when hubby and I were looking for a place to eat lunch in Molito. If you've been to that area, you probably know that looking for parking during peak hours can be such a hassle! We originally wanted to eat somewhere else, but then the only parking we could find was in front of Burger Geek so we went here instead.

Anyway, I liked the minimal and modern look of the place. Simple but nice.

Anyway, here's their menu:

They gave out kropek as complimentary appetizer, which was so addicting! My son didn't want to try it at first because of the green powder, but once he tasted it, we had to ask for another serving lol! ;p

Hubby ordered the CLASS PRESIDENT burger (P310) which has American cheese, smashed patty lettuce, tomato, crispy bacon, shiitake mushroom, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. It was really good! The bun was soft, burger was juicy, plus all the ingredients worked well together.

I got the UMAMI CHICKEN (P295) which is 2 pcs. Southern fried chicken, umami corn, and rice. You can choose from either Kimchi rice or Korean yang chow. I wanted yang chow but it wasn't available. The Kimchi one was spicy daw so I just opted for plain rice. And this takes 20-25 minutes serving time since they only prepare and cook it when ordered.

The chicken was really flavorful and reminds me a lot of Bad Bird at Hole in the Wall. I didn't even need the gravy.

We also ordered some sides - Onion Rings and French Fries (P65 each). The only bummer was that these items were the last to be served! But good thing the taste made up for the wait.

Overall, I'm glad we ended up here because I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Will definitely be back. :)
