The place has an industrial minimalist vibe, with its concrete walls, monobloc chairs and beer crates.
So this is what Tipsy Tvrtle stands for! Always wondered about the V in the spelling of Tvrtle.
Their menu features Asian street food, Pinoy faves, and grilled skewers. Perfect for an inuman session.
It was so tempting to try everything, but here's what we ordered:
Cheese Sticks - Their take on this classic appetizer. Deep-fried spring rolls filled with cheese, leeks and bell peppers.

Chicken Curry Sate - Tender chicken thigh fillet marinated in Thai curry, cumin, turmeric, cayenne, and coconut milk for over 12 hours. A bit spicy.

Pork Robata - Robata is the Japanese way of grilling pork barbeque. They marinate the pork belly for precisely 11 hours in Japanese soy sauce, mirin, organic honey, and garlic.
Isaw Inasal - A fusion of the classic isaw and our favorite Bacolod specialty. Isaw marinated in chicken oil, lemongrass, soy sauce, and vinegar.

Sate Lilit - Straight from Bali, this skewer is a mixture of beef, peanuts, shrimp paste, and Indonesian spices. Grilled until moist and flavorful.

Star Rice - I HAD to order this! This Filipino classic brings back so much memories haha! Fried rice cooked with a healthy serving of Star Margarine and garlic flakes.

Kimchi Rice - A favorite in Asian food joints. Their kimchi rice is an ode to this classic buttery, spicy fried rice.

We enjoyed everything and our total bill was about P650 with drinks already. Definitely something different for us and a fun food experience.
