Aside from BGC, Va Bene Pasta Deli has two other branches in Makati, the original one in the Petron Gas Station on the corner of EDSA and Pasay Road. The other one is in Circuit Makati.

The must try is defeinitely their pasta, which is freshly made upon order and cooked al dente. These 2 pasta dishes were so good, but I have to say I loved the Organic Eggs Tagliatelle more. Soooo yummy!
Organic Eggs Tagliatelle - P440 Portobello mushrooms, white wine cream sauce, truffle oil |
Pappardelle - P460 twelve (12) hours braised lamb shank, Italian sausage, semi-dried tomatoes, black olives |
They also had this Summer Truffle Menu promo when we dined there:
Rolled Spinach Cannelloni - P390 spinach, ham, light tomato cream sauce |
Their pizzas are served in rectangular slices, which pay homage to the street pizzas of Italy. To be honest, we were so full already from the pasta that we just took this home.
Pizza al taglio (Square Pizza) |
What's the verdict of my Italian friend? She really liked it! And to think she just also came from vacation in Italy, so that's saying a lot. Personally, I think Va Bene is one of the best Italian restaurants here in Manila, especially their pasta dishes. Will definitely be back! :)
