Food Galore at the Fairmont Hotel Gold Lounge

During our staycation at Fairmont Hotel, we were upgraded to a Gold room, which meant we now had access to their exclusive lounge also on the same floor. The Gold Lounge served breakfast and snacks, plus unlimited tea, coffee, juices and soft drinks the whole day!

At first, we were just planning to head over to Landmark or Greenbelt (which was right next door) for merienda. But after checking the food at the lounge, we realized that we didn't even need to leave the hotel anymore!

Their Afternoon Tea (2pm - 4pm) offered different types of pastries and breads.

cakes and tarts
sandwiches
snack time before swimming
lovely view of the pool area from the lounge

Their Hors D’oeuvres (6pm - 8pm) featured different types of cheese, nuts, salad, salmon, and maki. We were planning to have dinner in the mall after, but then we got so full already from all the food!

The best part for hubby was their selection of complimentary alcoholic beverages! Heaven daw lol! ;p

In fact, they were still offering pastries and desserts from 9pm - 12am! But we honestly couldn't eat anymore that we had to skip that part na hehe!

Their Deluxe Continental Breakfast (6am - 11am) had different types of fresh juices, yogurts, cereals, cold cuts, breads and pastries. It wasn't as large a selection as that of other hotel buffets, but it was still pretty good. :)

Main dishes were: Native Longganisa, Bacon, Smoked Bangus, Garlic Fried Rice, Beef Tapa, Pork Sausage, Potato Parmesan, and Buttered Vegetables.

Then you could order whatever type of egg you want, then they serve it to you beautifully plated with sidings too. :)

We super enjoyed our stay that hubby and I agreed to book a Gold room next time just so we can have access again to the lounge! Based on the rates, the difference of a Deluxe room (without lounge) to a Gold room is about P3k. I think that's sulit na considering all the food and drinks you can have, right? I seriously think we gained 5 pounds on this staycation from all the eating we did! Can't wait for the next one. ;p
