But the good news is, I was finally able to take pics of my son's room to share with you guys. YEY! ;p In my previous post, I blogged about how the daybed I bought didn't quite work out in the space and luckily, I was able to return it and get some new furniture.
BEFORE |
If you remember, I got a new bed, side tables, a desk, and some lamps. And after everything was delivered, it took me less than half an hour to fix everything up. That's how I knew I made the right decision! Anyway, here's how the room looks like now:

These 2 lamps and the small cactus plant are also from Mandaue Foam. I love how the lamps aren't the same but they still work together. :)
Love how all the prints and patterns mix and match. And finally I have a spot for this antique rocking chair! I was supposed to paint it a bright color before but I'm glad I left it alone... for now. ;p
I love how the desk hides the aircon underneath...
Some accessories which I grabbed from other parts of the house...
S is for SABRE! |
But overall, I am so happy with the way the space turned out. This is now my favorite room in our house! :) Anyway, I still have lots of ideas which I want to do here, like painting the wall behind the bed (chevron or a nice pop of color), putting some frames, etc. I just need the TIME! ;p
Very cozy room you have there Sis Helene!
ReplyDeleteI love dark colored wood furniture too! Halos lahat sa bahay naming ganun. My sis-in-law even commented masyado daw madilim ang house naming… hehe…
I loved the orange chair, green apples, red letter S and mustard owl with the dark brown desk! Perfect! Sooo Pinterest ang peg! =)
By the way, dun sa last pic, ung door sa left side, is that a toilet & bath? If it is, then I don’t think there’s a need of a dresser pa in that room. TV & shoe rack na lang… you know an entertainment center na you can convert into a shoe rack? Maki-alam daw ba ako sa interior designing powers mo??? Hahaha…
Honestly, change mo lang ang bed sheets, and it’ll look like a boys room na talaga…
Well done Sis!!! clap clap!
Thanks sis! And yes, bathroom un sa left side na door. Yup, ganun nga iniisip ko - to put a shoe rack na mukhang dresser gets? ;p Thanks for the tips too!
DeleteWhere'd you get your rug and that adorable S-shaped holder and owl?
ReplyDeleteThe rug is from Urban Outfitters in the States, the S-shaped holder is from Uniwide and the owl is from SM. :)
DeleteI am really amazed on this room, actually you really have a good taste in designing and choosing stuff :) because I came to read your blog I think last year. The knack for dainty and elegance is there. Hope to meet you also one day!
