KICCA is short for KI-ds CA-fe and it originated from Korea. It's at the 3rd floor of Festival Mall's new wing, near the Landmark entrance (toy section). It's also right beside Kidzoona, so you can take your pick which play area to go to.
I believe KICCA just opened last December so we were able to avail of their soft opening promo of P400 for 2 hours (child and guardian). And don't forget to bring your SOCKS! They also have a locker area to keep your shoes and bags.
The place is actually smaller than I expected, but good thing there wasn't that much people yet (compared to Kidzoona which was so full that time!). So the kids were able to run around and experience all the activities comfortably.
They have a couple of bathrooms inside and they were spacious and clean. Hopefully, they can maintain this even after a couple of months/years.
Anyway, KICCA has various digital interactive stations which kids and adults alike will enjoy. It reminded me of our visit to the ArtScience Museum in Singapore with similar activities.
MOTION SLIDE - Probably the most popular activity, this interactive digital slide is made more fun with the thousands of balls at the bottom. I liked how the balls were all white/clear, and most importantly clean!
MOTION SHOOTING - Throw balls against the digital wall, it's interactive and it knows where you hit.
MOTION SCAN - See your artistic drawings come alive in an under sea world.
SHOOTING ADVENTURE - Using Nerf guns, be the brave hero in every adventure in different worlds.
MOTION BLOCK - Have fun piling up the digital blocks to see more interactive videos.
MOTION FLOOR - A digital floor that is aware of your toes and plays interactive videos.
MOTION SAND - Experience digging out fossils and tending gardens with the interactive sand.
MOTION WALL - It's alive and interactive! A digital wall that reacts to your fingers.
MOTION FACE - Whimsical digital face mask, be surprised on every face swap.
MOTION BLADE - Beyblade made more fun on a digital stadium.
Once you get tired or hungry from all that playing, slip inside KICCA's lovely café. Below, you can see the entrance of the snack bar on the left side, with a door curtain.
It's beautifully decorated with marble and gold details. Very IG-worthy ;p
You are also welcomed by floor to ceiling windows with a wonderful view of Festival Mall's garden area. Super sarap to just sit and watch.
If you have older kids that don't need much supervision, you can leave them in the play area while you wait in the cafe since there's a CCTV where you can see all the play stations.
We had a great time here and I'm glad I discovered another play area for the kids. I think 2 hours is just the right amount of time, although Skyler couldn't get enough of the slide! ;p
