Sabe’s All-Star 1st birthday party: Supplier Ratings (part 3)

Here's the last part of my supplier ratings which will tackle the DIY stuff I did for the party. So of course, everything will have a perfect score! ;p

Invites: DIY

I mostly emailed the invites and just printed a few at Fujifilm for the oldies who don’t have Facebook. This was the first thing I did for the party and all the the other printables were based on this design.

Cupcakes (with DIY toppers): CIELIN'S CAKEHOUSE

Another staple in our parties, these chocolate cupcakes are simply to die for! I did the toppers again just like what I did for Miley's 2nd birthday.

Food Labels: DIY

I wanted to tie in all the elements of the balls and stripes in the invite together so I made the food labels in the same template as well.

Prizes: DIVISORIA

I bought all the prizes in Anding's in Divisoria. I wanted all the prizes to be sports related so I bought bowling, golf, pingpong & basketball sets, skipping ropes, hula hoops, etc. Everything cost about P1,000. Of course, these were pricier than the usual coloring books, stickers, pencils and notepads that I could have gotten, but I really wanted them to go with the theme.

Giveaways (with DIY tags): DIVISORIA

I had 2 sets of giveaways for the adults and the kids. I was only supposed to have giveaways for the kids, but I found these assorted ball keychains at Divisoria for P55 per pack of 12!

I had also seen these stress balls before and knew I wanted to give these away as well. I was able to buy them at P120 per pack of 12 (I saw the same balls in Tickles and they were sold at 3 for P100).

I placed 3 balls per pack together with candies, chocolates and some soccer ball whistles I got in Singapore. This was how the final packaging looked like (check out how I did the giveaways HERE).

Additional Giveaways & Sweets: c/o MIL

I love how involved my mother-in-law is with the kids parties! She went ahead and packed these additional goody boxes which she filled with candies. I know it doesn't go with the sports theme, but I love them anyway. =)

She also made chocolate lollipops (which are inside those baskets) as well as bought extra goodies and snacks for everyone.

Additional Table Centerpieces: DIY

Since the package I got from Partyboosters only included 10 centerpieces, I decided to make some of my own for the other tables. I also got to use some of the extra stress balls as well. Check out how I did the centerpieces HERE.

Signages: DIY / Banners: TOY KINGDOM

I had some extra cartolina from the centerpieces I made so I decided to make some signages at the last minute just before we left for the party.

The Happy Birthday banners and buntings I found on sale at Toy Kingdom.

Overall, I was happy with how the party turned out. What was important is that we were able to celebrate the 1st birthday of our little boy with our friends and family. I also made sure that I was able to enjoy this party since I worked hard for it!

So again, happy happy birthday Sabe and we love you so much! Next party when you're 7 years old na ok? =)
