I read online that this resto was formerly known as Boqueria and is part of the SumoSam group of restaurants owned by Marvin Agustin, Ricky Laudico, and Raymund Magdaluyo. Alqueria also brought in partners Liz Uy, Mylene Dizon, Agot Isidro, and Charo Santos.
Anyway, I love the location of this place since it's on the 3rd floor of Mega Fashion Hall, near H&M!
The interiors were nicely done. We were planning to have a long lunch so we wanted a place that wasn't so crowded and had comfy seating.
I loved this tiled wall with a visual of a flamenco dancer |
I also like these sayings on the walls :) |

BTW, their specialty is the Cochinillo, an oven-baked young (21-day old) suckling pig that is served whole and is chopped into pieces using a ceramic plate showing how tender and crispy it is. This costs a whopping P5,000 and needs to be ordered in advanced.
We had a good 4-hour lunch, just enjoying the food and each other's company. Happy with the overall experience and I'm glad I was able to try this restaurant on my rare outing to the north. ;p
