Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina in Alabang

Whenever we go to Alabang Town Center and pass by Silantro (on the way to the basement parking of Metro), I notice the place is usually full. We've been curious to try this place for quite some time now and wasn't so lucky when we tried to eat there for lunch. So one time we got to ATC at around 5pm, we decided to have merienda/early dinner while there were still available seats.

Anyway, Silantro is located in the corporate center building beside Alabang Town Center, and is also right across from Molito. Like I said, we were there on a weekday afternoon, and even then the place started to fill up after we came in.

We were pleasantly surprised that the prices of their food and drinks were very budget-friendly.

And even more surprised when the food came and we saw how generous the servings were. Super sulit! Everyone around us had an order of Beef Nachos so we had to get this too. Definitely one of their best sellers for a reason. Soooo good and a must try if you eat here!

The Silantro's Quesadilla had chicken, mushrooms, and an insane amount of cheese! Actually too much cheese nga, medyo nakakaumay na siya after a while. Definitely for sharing.

Hubby also ordered 2 Ligero Tacos, with a single choice of meat. He got oxtail and lengua which were both good as well.

These were their sauces which were refillable. I forget the flavors, but I just kept dipping in the middle white one. The one on the left was the spicy one ata.

Hubby had beer so I got a mojito. Not bad for just P90!

Anyway, food was great and super affordable. One of our new favorites in ATC. Will definitely be back for more!
