Our 7th anniv dinner at Kiwa Korean Grill

It's been a month since our 7th wedding anniversary, and were actually here now in Bangkok for work plus to celebrate as well. But during our actual anniversary, we had dinner at the lovely Kiwa Korean Grill in Solaire.

I was here during the bloggers event of the restaurant and good thing they gave away gift certificates as part of the press kit. It was for a Yangnyumgalbi Course which is beef rib seasoned with special sweet soy sauce. Each set costs P3,000 each (good thing I had vouchers!) and it comes with salad, chapchae noodles, soup, and sidings.

Everything was so good, especially the beef which was so tender and tasty. I also loved the salad as well. And the best part, no smoke smell after all that grilling because of their state-of-the-art exhaust system where all the smoke is ventilated under the floor!

I really find their interiors so beautiful especially the ceiling. For more photos of the restaurant, check out my post HERE.

Anyway, I personally feel that it's very important to spend quality time with one another once in a while. When you get married and have children, you sometimes lose the romance part in your relationship since you focus more on the kids or get stressed out by work or other issues in your home. That't why we still try to go on dates as much as we can. Don't get me wrong, we love being with our kids all day, everyday. But having that time together allows you to have deeper and meaningful conversations and appreciate each other more. Personally, I believe that having a strong relationship as a couple is so important because it reflects on your kids and they will be able to see and emulate that in their future relationships as well. And of course, sometimes you just need that time by yourselves to recharge and refresh so you can be better people and parents too, right? If you're happy, everyone's happy! So here's to more anniversaries (and dates) with the love of my life. Cheers! :)
