Circles Buffet at Makati Shangri-La

We celebrated the birthday of my brother-in-law by having lunch at Circles Event Cafe. We started eating at around 12noon and ended at about 2:30pm! They had a good selection of international cuisine from different meats (lamb, roast pork, duck, crab, etc), to pizzas and pastas (you choose what type of noodles and sauce you like and they cook it for you), to other Asian dishes (Filipino food like bagnet, dimsum, Indian, etc) and many more. They also had a salad bar, sushi bar, and of course, the dessert bar (my favorite!).

The lunch buffet is really pricey at about P1,600 per person. To be honest, I wouldn't even dream of spending this much on food (especially since I don't really get to maximize eating at buffets, not like hubby). But we had 2 vouchers c/o my mother-in-law who is currently on vacation, so she just asked us to use it before it expired. So, we just ended up paying for 2 heads. But surprisingly, the restaurant was full (mostly foreigners and businessmen) despite the price.

the best part - DESSERT!

Whew, we were so stuffed after eating we all just wanted to sleep after haha! ;p I think it would have been more sulit if we ate at Vikings or Yakimix though since the cost is waaay cheaper and you even get unlimited drinks at Vikings. In Circles, only tea and coffee are included. But we still had a good time and we'll probably eat here again if we have a voucher or if someone treats us during another celebration. ;p
