The Vacation Villas at Subic Homes are American style and offer you a choice of 2, 3 or 4 bedroom houses. We got a 2 bedroom unit and each house is fully furnished with centralized airconditioning. The furniture and decor is very simple and sparse though, nothing fancy at all. Which is good if you have kids since you won't have to worry about them breaking anything hehe. ;p

The house comes with a complete kitchen with cooking and dining utensils, refrigerator/freezer, electric range, microwave oven, and rice cooker. Coffee maker and toaster are available upon request. You can make pa-deliver from nearby restaurants like Aristocrat but we just had lunch in the nearby Harbor Point Mall where we also went grocery shopping for some food and drinks. We also took out some food for dinner which we just heated in the microwave.
The rooms are very spacious and comes with pillows, beddings and towels. The house is technically for 4 people but of course we were more than that. So bring extra towels if you're a bigger group or have kids.

very spacious room with closets that the kids loved playing hide and seek in ;p |
There was also a room beside the kitchen which was the maid’s or driver’s quarters. It has 1 single bed and its own simple bathroom. But what we did was just move this mattress to the other guest room in the floor as an extra bed and our yaya just slept on the couch which was very comfy (in fact, hubby wanted to sleep there lol). And since the whole house had centralized aircon, the living room was also cool so no problem at all.
I just wasn't so happy with the main bathroom since it looked a bit old na. And there wasn't any toilet paper! Hopefully they'd update this to look more modern in the future.
The kids just loved running throughout the house. I guess they felt it was like a hotel but bigger lol. There was also a barbeque grill in the backyard btw. But no wi-fi signal which was a bummer.
The Subic Homes compound is like a village with lots of residential houses and even Brent International School. Hubby kept saying we should just move here in the future so he could just bike all day! As if haha! ;p

They have a pool in the clubhouse but we didn't get a chance to swim here na since we were so busy with hubby's race. And there were quite a few people too since it was a race weekend as well.
This is the clubhouse/front office where you check-in and check-out. This is also a restaurant so you can have breakfast or merienda here while swimming.
For check-out, we forgot to call 30 minutes before so we had to wait quite a bit. Ooops! And another perk is you get 10% off if you visit Treetop Adventure, Zoobic Safari or Jest Camp.
It was a super fun weekend for the whole family. This is really the first time that we've all gone to support hubby during a race and I know it really meant a lot to him. Although it was tiring waiting for him at the finish line since it was crowded and hot, the kids were so excited once they saw their daddy running at the end (well, except Skyler who as you can see below was already so fussy haha!). We'll definitely try to go on more races in the future, especially when the kids are older. Who knows, maybe they'd even participate in the kids division too! :)
